Textile QC software made in India, for Indian fabric floors
Textile QC software for India has to work on a ₹10,000 tablet, without steady Wi-Fi, in Tamil or Hindi, with prices in rupees and a GST invoice. Fabric Inspection Software is built by AvanceZone in Coimbatore for exactly those conditions, around the ASTM D5430 4-point system that export buyers specify.
Why do Indian textile units need India-specific QC software?
Most textile quality platforms are designed for global brands: priced in US dollars on a quote, run on iPads, in English, with a multi-month rollout. An Indian mid-size knitter, processor or exporter has a different reality. Inspectors speak Tamil, Hindi or Punjabi on the floor. The inspection area often has weak mobile signal. The budget is a ₹10,000–12,000 Android tablet, not an enterprise licence. And the accounts team needs a GST invoice before anything is paid.
Fabric Inspection Software is textile QC software designed for that floor. The inspection screen has glove-sized buttons and a dark, high-contrast layout for tube-lit sheds; defect taps are saved on the device first and synced later; voice logging accepts Tamil, Hindi and English number words where the tablet's speech recognition supports the language; and the plans are published in rupees.

Which Indian textile clusters does it support?
Tirupur, Erode, Karur and Coimbatore
Knitted fabric for export garments: single jersey, interlock, rib and fleece. Typical faults are holes, needle lines, lycra out and barre, with knitwear limits of 20–28 points per 100 sq yd from European buyers. Tamil labels on the inspection screen; Tamil voice where the device supports it.
Surat
Polyester, viscose and blended wovens, dress material and sarees. Typical faults are oil stains, slubs, missing ends and weft bars, often judged per 100 sq m for Middle East and EU buyers. Hindi labels on the inspection screen; Hindi voice where the device supports it.
Ludhiana
Knitwear, woollens and acrylics. Typical faults are dropped stitches, press-off and shade variation between batches, with lot-average rules from US and UK buyers. Hindi and English labels; voice where the device supports it.
Free on-floor demos run in these clusters; every other city, from Panipat to Bengaluru, gets the same demo by video. Book a free factory demo.
How does it meet Indian compliance and billing needs?
- Data in India. Rolls, defect photos, buyer standards and mill claims are stored on servers in India (AWS Mumbai, ap-south-1), isolated per workspace, encrypted in transit and at rest, with nightly encrypted backups.
- DPDP Act 2023. The app helps you meet the Act for staff data: it holds only the personal data it needs (names, phone numbers, logins), supports export and deletion on request, and logs who accessed what. Details are on the security and compliance page.
- GST invoice. AvanceZone issues a GST invoice with your GSTIN for every payment, so the subscription is eligible for input tax credit like any other business expense.
- Mill claims under GST. Debit notes to supplying mills carry the original invoice reference, so the mill can issue the matching credit note under Section 34 of the CGST Act. Our guide on raising a debit note to a fabric mill explains the process.
What should you check before choosing textile QC software in India?
- Does it do the 4-point maths itself? Points per 100 sq yd, the 4-points-per-yard cap and running-defect rules should be automatic, not a formula an inspector types.
- Does it work offline on Android? Test it on the tablet you will actually buy, in the corner of the floor with the worst signal.
- Can inspectors use it in their language? Tamil or Hindi labels matter; voice logging matters more when both hands are on the fabric, so test it on the tablet you will buy, because speech recognition support varies by device.
- Does it hold several buyers' limits and formats? An exporter shipping to five buyers needs five standards, not one.
- Is the price public and in rupees? Know the monthly cost, GST and hardware before a sales call, and check there are no per-roll fees.

Textile QC software in India: questions
Which is the best textile QC software in India for a mid-size unit?
For a mid-size mill, knitter or exporter that inspects its own rolls, the best fit is software with the 4-point maths built in, rupee pricing, offline Android and Tamil or Hindi support. Fabric Inspection Software was built for exactly that, from ₹4,999 a month. Compare options in our buying guide.
Is the textile QC software priced in rupees with GST?
Yes. Fabric Inspection Software lists prices in rupees: ₹4,999 a month (₹5,899 with 18 % GST) for the Unit plan and ₹14,999 a month (₹17,699 with GST) for the Exporter plan. AvanceZone issues a GST invoice with your GSTIN so you can claim input tax credit.
Where is the data stored?
On servers in India (AWS Mumbai, ap-south-1). Fabric Inspection Software keeps rolls, defect photos, buyer standards and mill claims in India, isolated per workspace and encrypted in transit and at rest. It helps you meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 for the staff data it holds.
Does textile QC software work in Tamil and Hindi?
Partly, depending on the device. The Fabric Inspection Software inspection screen and defect master carry Tamil, Hindi and English labels; office screens are in English. Voice phrases such as "hole char point 42" or "slub, moonu point, eighty-six" work where the tablet's speech recognition supports the language. Each entry is shown for confirmation; say "undo" to remove it.
Do you offer on-site training in textile clusters?
Yes. Fabric Inspection Software offers free on-floor demos and training in Tirupur, Surat and Ludhiana and nearby clusters such as Erode and Karur. Units in other cities, including Coimbatore, Bhiwandi, Panipat and Bengaluru, get the same demo and training over a video call.
